Duplicate Photo Finder
Who needs two copies of the same photo?
Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder helps you free up space in your hard drive by finding and removing duplicate images in just a couple of clicks.
Using Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder is very easy. All you need to do is select the folder you want to scan and press the Start Search button. The duplicate images will be listed at the bottom of the interface. You can then go over them one by one, and use the preview function to decide which one to keep, and which one to erase. A third option is moving the selected picture to a different folder.
Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder is really fast when scanning folders, but unfortunately it’s not that reliable when the similarity percentage falls below 50%. Another feature we missed in Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder was the possibility of selecting multiple files at the same time to erase or move them, which would make bulk file handling a lot easier.
If you think you may have multiple duplicate images on your hard drive, use Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder and get rid of all of them!

The tool allows you to compare several folders and their subfolders for identical images. And identical can be entirely identical or resized, touched up versions of the same. It will find them and rate them as 100% the same (=identical) to 90% (look-alike) to almost 0% (same objects but slightly different, so essentially another image). The tool does it quite quickly although comparing 100,000 images takes a solid 5 hours. Some practical problems: 1. It only pairs up two files. To remove all N copies of the orginal you need to delete N times. 2. You can only delete one file at the time. In bad cases you need to go through 4000 delete operations. 3. You can only move one file at the time. It would be helpful if it allowed to select the largest size of all duplicates and move that one to the left side, removing all others 5. No way to save the final result. It would be so helpful if you could "Save" your results and re-open them next time
Pros: Fast and accurate Free.
Cons: 1. It only pairs up two files. To remove all N copies of the orginal you need to delete N times. 2. You can only delete one file at the time. 3. You can only click on "delete" buttons. Repetitive strain on the lure! 4. You can only move one file at the time. 5. No way to save the final result for multisession work
